The re-appearance of the sun this past weekend in Southfield, Michigan was not the only thing worth crowing about.

We thank the participants from this year’s Michigan Modernism Art & Antiques Show. Your hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm helped drive this show over the top.

At our Friday Night Preview Party we received so many compliments on the merchandise, food, music and overall atmosphere. That was a good night, with some very good buying, swaying to the music of Nicole New and her band, the mouthwatering cuisine from Annabel Cohen Cooks Detroit, and the engaging displays from our beneficiaries: The Southfield Public Arts Commission, the Tony ROKO Art Foundation, and the Rhonda Walker Foundation, and the Detroit Area Art Deco Society.  What a great opportunity to be able to see what they are working on up close and personal. A special thanks to Jeff Ligan and the Southfield Public Arts Commission who presented the showcase display of Lilian Louisa Swann’s work that they are currently working to restore.

And the fun of the event did not stop there. To all of our superstars who rose early morning for on camera interviews, to our engaging dealers who invited their clients, brought their best merchandise and are working to make sure this event captures the hearts and minds of all who attend.

For those unable to make this year’s show we look forward to seeing you next year. Please add these dates to your calendar: April 26 – 28, 2019.
